It is preferred but not always essential. Access to the affected areas is required — if you cannot be present, arrangements can be made for a property manager, tenant or agent to provide access. Some areas (roof, sub-floor) may require specific access arrangements in any case.
We provide no-obligation written quotations following site inspection, at no charge. Where an independent investigation report is requested separately to a quotation, a fee may apply — we will confirm this when the scope of the inspection is discussed.
Lead times vary with workload. Typically we can commence residential projects within two to four weeks of quote acceptance. Commercial projects may require longer depending on scope and access. Urgent active-leak situations are prioritised — contact us directly to discuss.
For standard project work we operate Monday to Friday. For urgent commercial situations where operational continuity or ongoing damage is at stake, weekend and after-hours attendance can be arranged by agreement.
